yup, i have 3 of those, haha. its definitely a more raw sound and is a hella good disc. all 3 of their discs are pretty different. i dont think they will be using too much of the formula off of that disc to use towards their new disc though. they are always progressing and changing. however, the opening to 'nothing remains' is quite similar to the opening of 'this present darkness'. that i will most defintily agree on. glad you got it though. i love that cd.

oh, the new cd wont be out until august 9th. it wont be at the merch table for sure. they played noting remains, and also inside the horror. i put in a review earlier: quote: simpy put, it has the best end to a chimaira song ever. overall, it was an interesting song and heavy throughout. it started off sounding like a classic metal song, which then went to thrash, and ended with pounding bass drops reapeatedly, with a nice thumping drum beat, and a nice guitar riff, blended in with a pretty nifty solo. it totalled to about one minute of instrumental at the end. really good song, usually, i have a hard time getting an impression of a new song live, so i cant wait to hear it on disc.
and upon remembering a little more, the only weakness in the song is the chorus. it wasnt impressive for the song, but maybe ill like it more when i hear it in august. also, i love the dehumanizing process dvd. its awesome shit. if you put it in the dvd player, and let it sit on the menu for a few minutes without touching anything, it will play an unreleased chimaira song entitled: stays the same. its a pretty good song, nothing like a chimaira song, but its good. they talk about it for a few minutes on the dvd. they didnt want it on the album because it was too melodic for their tastes.
